What ingredients go into VOAK candles and reed diffusers?

Our candles are made using 100% natural soy wax, a pure spun cotton yarn wick, and blends of luxury fine fragrances and/or essential oils.  Our reed diffusers also contain the same luxury fragrance or essential oil blends.  We work hard to ensure that only the best quality ingredients go into our products. 

As soy wax is a natural ingredient, occasionally a 'bloom' or 'frosting' can develop.  This is in no way a flaw, or will affect the quality of your candle, rather it is a sign of the natural characteristics of the ingredients we use.    

Are VOAK products vegan friendly?

Yes, all our products are vegan friendly and are not tested on animals.

How can I get the best out of my candle and reed diffuser?

Please see Candle Care and Reed Diffuser Care sections of website for important safety information.  The lids that are supplied with candles in the Signature Amber and Utility Tin ranges are useful for prolonging the life of the fragrance and keeping the wax dust free. 

How will my item(s) be packaged?

It is important to us that we keep product packaging to an absolute minimum.  Therefore, each candle comes carefully wrapped in simple tissue paper, with a fragrance information card that can be retained for future reference.  This eliminates the need for unnecessary product packaging.  Our reed diffusers are also simply packaged in a 100% organic cotton Fairtrade pouch, with fragrance information card.  The same low-waste principle applies to all other items.      

We consciously use eco-friendly, 100% recyclable postage packaging.  The starch chips we use to cushion and protect products during transit are fully compostable.     

Can I send an order as a gift?

Yes, of course.  Just make sure you let us know in the 'Special Instructions' section when checking out.  We are more than happy to handwrite a personal message on your behalf.

What should I do if I'm unhappy with my order?

We never want anyone to be disappointed with their order.  But, if this happens, please contact us and we'll do our very best to fix it.
